Sharon Reinhard is a Christian educator, interpreter, and author with more than 18 years of experience in leadership, education, and marketing. She currently serves as Co-founder and Academic Director of the Live Interpretation Academy (LIA), training interpreters for church ministry in online, in-person, and blended programs. Sharon is also the author of Interpreters of the Kingdom: Mastering Church Interpretation – Skills for Bilingual Ministry, a pioneering book for church interpreters, and the children’s series Living Like Heroes, published by AGPS Books.

Sharon holds a degree in Marketing Administration and pursued advanced studies in Educational Management and English Teaching, giving her a unique perspective that blends the analytical rigor of business with the pedagogical heart of education. She has also completed international certifications in leadership, ambitious teaching, cooperative learning, and neuroscience through institutions such as Harvard University and the University of Michigan.

This preparation has allowed her not only to lead schools and academic projects, but also to train educators and interpreters with vision and strategy. Her background in marketing sharpened her ability to understand people, design effective programs, and create initiatives that respond to real needs. Combined with her training in education and leadership, Sharon has developed a style that is both structured and creative, strategic and human-centered.

True Passion: Education and Interpretation

Although Sharon began her career in marketing and communications, she always knew her true passion was education. Over the years, she became a key leader in Christian schools, designing English programs, supervising curriculum development, and mentoring teachers. She established evaluation standards to monitor student progress and created environments where young people could not only learn but also grow in character and faith.

She has organized academic events such as spelling bees, Bible competitions, and talent shows, believing that education must be holistic and engaging. Her workshops for parents have helped families strengthen their role in their children’s education, turning schools into communities where learning is shared.

Her love for languages naturally led her to the world of interpretation. Having taught English and developed bilingual programs for years, she understood the power of language as a bridge. That passion became the seed of what is now Live Interpretation Academy (LIA).

As Co-founder and Academic Director of LIA, Sharon has designed programs that prepare interpreters not only to translate words but also to carry messages with clarity, faith, and authority. LIA emphasizes both the technical aspects of interpretation, such as memory, reformulation, and tone, and the spiritual calling behind this ministry. Through LIA, Sharon has positioned herself as a pioneer in the training of church interpreters, a field often overlooked but essential for global ministry.

Writing has been another of Sharon’s lifelong passions, and it has become a vital part of her mission.

Interpreters of the Kingdom: This book is the first of its kind, a practical and spiritual manual for church interpreters. It blends theory, biblical principles, and real-world applications, offering exercises, case studies, and reflections that help interpreters grow in excellence and humility. It has been praised by pastors and ministry leaders as a much-needed resource in the bilingual church context.
Living Like Heroes: Sharon is also the creator and author of this children’s book series of 21 volumes, each focused on a biblical character and a value or trait of character. Designed for children ages 6–9, each book tells vivid, age-appropriate stories that highlight faith, perseverance, courage, or joy, among other traits. They include interactive activities, questions for parents, prayers, and Bible verses, making them a tool not only for reading but also for family discipleship. Sharon is fluent in Spanish and English, has intermediate knowledge of French, and is currently learning Korean.
